Step 16
Using the dupe break it apart (Ctrl+K) and apply a horizontal mirror to the slot. Realign and delete the floor components.
Create the shape shown in the position indicated.
Use the shape to trim the slots.
Delete the shape and weld the slots together with the shaping Docker.
Break the slots with the Node Edit Tool at the middle, break it apart (Ctrl+K) and select each half and close the objects.
Draw the shape shown, dupe and mirror and snap into place and use the Intersect command to produce the shape shown on the left. Repeat for the right and combine everything.

Step 17
Get another round head screw head and a hex socket and align and center as shown and combine as shown in the top example.
Get a copy of the circle and ellipse and combine them as shown in the bottom example for the bottom view of the head.

 

Step 18
The Flat Head

Get a copy of the ellipse and apply a 60 percent reduction to a duplicate using the Transform Docker – twice. Move the smaller ellipses up 2.50 inches and down 2.00 inches using the Property Bar.
Dupe the stack, delete the bottom ellipse, modify the larger ellipse as shown.
Trim the larger shape.
Go back to the other stack and delete the top ellipse modify the smaller ellipse as shown.
Trim the smaller shape.
