Off Axis and Off Angle Projection - page 6
The completed sprocket. This will finish creating cylindrical and elliptical objects for Case 1. Next you will develop an angular object off axis.
Engineering drawing of a off axis hat rail extrusion.
The hat rail is rotated 25 degrees.
Create a rectangle about 0.15 high inches by 1.5 inches wide. Duplicate the rectangle and change the length to 0.5 inch. Use the Transform Roll-up to Rotate 90 degrees, apply to duplicate. Then modify the height to about 1.00 inches. Turn on snap to objects and align as shown on b. Select the two left objects and use the Transform Roll-up to apply a horizontal mirror to duplicate. Move the objects to the right position.
